Born in Venezuela and raised in Spain, I’ve always been driven by a restless, adventurous spirit. In 2017, I left everything behind to search for the unknown — new landscapes, new cultures, and new ways of living — on two wheels. What started as a plan to ride from Patagonia to Alaska evolved into a three-year odyssey across South America that ultimately led me to settle in Ecuador, a country that captured my heart and introduced me to the world of ultra-distance racing.
During that journey, I spent significant time exploring Northern Argentina, and it was there that something changed. The vastness of the landscapes, the rhythm of the mountains, and the warmth of the people made a lasting impression on me. It was a place that felt both raw and sacred — a true meeting point between endurance, culture, and nature.
In the years that followed, I raced across continents, experiencing the best and worst of what ultra-distance events can offer. Each one taught me what makes a race truly meaningful: challenge, beauty, authenticity, and safety.
The Northern Argentina Ultra-Distance Challenge was born from those lessons — an event designed to share the wonder I once felt riding through this land, and to offer others the chance to experience one of the most diverse and awe-inspiring regions in the world.
